Can You Fit a Car Into Your Garage?
When we bought our first home, we had a small detached garage. To access it, you needed to drive down an alley....we never put a car into it. In fact, there were several strong wind situations that I thought for sure, would put our sad little garage out of it's misery. We moved.
Not this garage...but very similar |
NOT MY GARAGE, but you get the idea. |
There are so many "potential" projects waiting for me in all that "stuff". Now, at this very moment, you can't get any cars into any of the bays' because my shelving for the Spring Into Action challenge is spread out over the entire space! Which got me to thinking.......why doesn't my garage look like this?
Or this?
If my tools looked like this, I could find them sooner and save so much time!
This was an extremely long way of asking you creative people....can you fit a car into your garage?
Charity Garage Sale
It's charity garage sale time! A few weeks ago, I posted about Spring Cleaning for a Cause. I have spent several days over the last two weeks, along with my friend Lisa, pricing many of the donated items......and now it is Garage Sale Time!

Saturday, May 21st Sunday, May 22nd 10am-5pm 45 Florence Street Joan's StoryJoan was delivering two boxes of Girl Scout cookies to a neighbor who lived across the street, three houses down from her house. The neighbor, a Tappan Zee high school chemistry teacher, Joseph McGowan raped and murdered her. This happened on April 19, 1973. McGowan became eligible for parole for a third time in January 2009 and was denied on December 8, 2008. Today on June 11, 2009 the parole board released its decision that McGowan's next parole eligibility will not be for 30 years, which amounts to about 18 years after deductions. This decision comes after Joan's mother Rosemarie led a continuous nine-month effort to publicize the danger to the public that the release of McGowan would cause along with a grassroots movement of concerned citizens that grew to support this effort. Over 80,000 personal signatures and 7,000 letters were collected. McGowan now has 180 days to decide if he will appeal the decision of the parole board, which he did the previous time his parole was denied. | Joan Angela Age 7 |
