Nantucket Style....Nicole Scott

I remember it well, I was new to blogging and read an article about nasty comments. I left the comment "I have never received any comments, so I can't relate". AND then, Nicole Scott came and visited my blog!

We have been friends ever since. 

Linda is a very special friend. She's the first person I ever connected with when I started my blog, and vice-versa. Lucky me huh?  So, because I adore her, I jumped at the chance to guest post this month for 31 days of Nantucket.  Now, you might think that if you're having '31 days of Nantucket' on your blog it may not seem like a logical choice to wrangle your Polish Canadian pal from the west coast of British Columbia to submit a guest blog post...I mean what do I know about Nantucket right? But don't worry peeps, Linda's a genius and geared me toward my current passion which is selling Etsy Pillows. Everyone Loves Pillows Right?!

With mission in hand I first consulted a map (since I've never been), fired up the old Pinterest wheel and immediately found some inspiration from the Nantucket area. I have matched some awesome pillows from Etsy to my inspirations that I hope you will like. Check them Out!

Nantucket Style.....Art

I am continuing my 31 days of Nantucket Style. If you would like to start at the beginning, go here. 
When I think of artwork, I often think of my surroundings. The obvious choice for a beach house would be nautical artwork. Nautical artwork can get really tacky. I remember Nate Berkus saying to someone, "You don't have to have an Eiffel Tower statue for us to know that you love Paris". 

I love Etsy, and thought that would be the perfect way to shop for tasteful beach house art.

Ebay & Other Addictions

Hello, I'm Linda...and I am an ebay addict. Remember the last ebay purchase I told you about? And, I still have not decided on what to do with these, either. Well, yesterday, while sitting in my car waiting for school pick-up (the most dangerous time in my day) I used my ebay app (I know, it's just like my CL app) to buy these

24 pieces of vintage white and brass hardware; 16 (the exact amount I need for my nightstands) of the straight ones on the left, 6 of the curved ones and 2 of the huge ones on the right. They are "never used" but from the 70's...hence the plastic wrap. If you look closely, you can see that they are a tad dinged.

As long as I am coming clean, I should tell you that I also have an Etsy app. There, now you know how I spend my time sitting in the car. OK, just one more addiction confession.......I can't stop drinking these
