The Pampered Guest

And just like that...

.

I am happy it's Monday! I know that so many of you dislike Mondays, so don't worry, Tuesday will be here before you know it. I have a 'no laundry on Monday' policy and I usually don't cook

very often

on Monday, either. See why I like Mondays? You may borrow that

...

you're welcome!

As I told you, Friday, I loved hearing

Dean Farris

talk about

'The Pampered Guest'

.

Dean recommends the following; using this Givenchy guest room as an example...

Bunny Mellon Guest Room by Givenchy

shows your guests that you care. Reading lamps, scented candles, and additional seating help create a luxurious layered room.

Amanda Nisbet

Blackout shades, fresh flowers, and an extra blanket are details your guests will appreciate.

Frances Herrera

A desk with stationary and a place for a laptop is practical and thoughtful.

Show the sheets! And have them pressed!

It has the golden and red tones in it, but it has a lighter feel to it.

All of this contemplating made me wonder... is possible to find the "cross-over" style where my friend's taste meets mine?

Look, she's a New Yorker, and she is going to do what she wants....I just thought this would be a fun challenge.

Here are pictures I think satisfy both our styles

Pottery Barn Bedding

I wonder what she will think? I will probably be wondering for quite some time....she doesn't read my blog!

What do you think?
