Nantucket Style....The Cottage Mix
I am continuing with the 31 Days of Nantucket Style. To start at the beginning, go here.
I have another treat for you, today. Lauren from the blog The Cottage Mix is here. She has great taste and it fits perfectly into Nantucket Style. Lauren renovated her husband's office space...well, she actually relocated him (my kind of woman), during the One Room Challenge. Here is the space she created

You can read about how she transformed this room, here. She has so much more on her blog....and she loves a great deal!
Don't tell her, but I was stalking her on Pinterest, before I met her....or not.

Hello all. This is Lauren from The Cottage Mix, I am so excited to be Linda's guest blogger today talking about Nantucket design.
When I think of Nantucket, I think of cedar-shake siding perfectly gray-washed by the sun and bright and airy interiors with lots of white and blue. I found a few beauties on the local real estate listings that brings this vision to life.....let's peek through the windows.

Seeing this makes me wish Summer wasn't over yet.
Nice studio and guest house, right? I would be happy living in that.
The exterior reminds me of the Something's Gotta Give house.
Could you imagine enjoying breakfast here every morning and wine in the evening? I would never leave!
Here is my "sensible chic" take on Nantucket design.
