One Room Challenge - Week 4
Welcome back to the One Room Challenge. This is the fourth week of a six week room makeover challenge. If you are new here, thanks for the visit. You can start the challenge here.
Tomorrow is link up day for those of you playing along.
The weeks are flying by and things are flying around. My week started off super exciting when my Rejuvenation hardware arrived. I chose the Large Oval Latch for the doors, and although I loved the brass, I decided to go with the Burnished Antique finish.
For the drawers I went with the Rejuvenation Plain Bin Pulls in the same Burnished Antique finish.
Let me remind you of what my sad credenza looked like with the dated and tired knobs.
This was the easiest furniture transformation I have ever done.
Isn't it amazing what some new hardware can do? I love how the hardware looks as though it was original to the piece.
I was also able to make a decision on the art above the credenza. I think four large graphic prints will fill the space and cast a beautiful reflection in the mirror on the opposing wall.
And speaking of the mirror on the opposing wall, I can't decide if I should paint the frame around it. Here is a quick mock-up...what do you think? Do you like the frame a color or do you prefer white?
You may have noticed that the sconces have been removed. Those needed a fresh coat of paint, too.
Finally, at the last minute yesterday, this was delivered.
I'm feeling optimistic even though I have a lot more to do.
